Butterflies is our Pre-School room for children aged 3-4 years.
Our experienced staff team provide endless opportunities for children to learn through play, along with specific teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of all children. We have a fantastic range of resources and educational equipment, to help prepare children for school readiness.

We have lots of extra-curricular activities for our Pre-School children including BilinguaSing teaching children French and Spanish through songs and rhymes and music. Super Star Sports also visit us weekly to provide sports sessions aimed to positively influence the next generation through enjoyment, engagement and creativity, ensuring that sport, exercise and healthy living is a child’s number one priority for life.
We achieve this through offering equal opportunities for every child of every age and ability, across our national movement which will educate and inspire by unleashing the power of sport!!!

Our Butterflies room has been purpose built with all brand new fixtures and fittings, to create an amazing space including a brand new kitchen area for meal times, as well as toilet facilities.
​
Our Pre-School children also benefit from attending various trips and outings. We have previously visited; The Belgrade Theatre, Hatton Farm, Conkers, Twycross Zoo, Hebert Art Gallery, Coventry Cathedral, Coventry Transport Museum and the local Library.

Meet Karen from BilinguaSing!
She visits Butterflies on a Wednesday to teach the children Spanish, French & German through songs, rhymes, stories, dancing and interactive activities!

If you've ever heard a song just once & then had it playing around your head for days, you won't be surprised to learn that singing in a foreign language can make it easier to learn because it helps it 'stick' in your brain. What's more, music has loads of developmental benefits for babies and young children - from social-emotional to physical skills; and from cognitive to language and literacy skills.
BilinguaSing songs are infectious, the props used are engaging and unique and really capture the imagination. The children embark on a magical journey every session, where they meet animal characters, reach for the stars, swim with the fish in the sea and dance amongst the colours of the rainbow – all while learning a second language!
