Our Caterpillar room is for children aged 2-3 years.
We have a large room space fully equipped for children to engage in lots of fun teaching and learning opportunities during play! We have an extensive range of excellent resources and high quality play equipment including our interactive ICT Panel. Our innovative provision captures children's imagination, providing lots of different opportunities learn and develop new skills. Following our organic and eco friendly ethos we have predominately wooden or natural resources.
Our staff team provide a variety of teaching and learning opportunities, making learning fun! Sometimes children have so much fun they don't even realise they are learning!
We have French and Spanish classes too! Research has shown that learning a new language at a younger age is proved to be to be the best time to introduce multi languages. We think it is important as it also helps with further education and school readiness, as languages are a core part in education.
All children get the opportunity to explore our large outdoor garden and take part in physical play activities, throughout their day at Enchanted. We also provide mini Yoga sessions, teaching children about mindfulness and developing posture, balance and the art of meditation. Children have loved taking part and have even been practicing at home too!
We have a separate children’s bathroom area with low level toilets and sinks to promote independence and support toilet training, including nappy changing facilities.
Our Caterpillar room can cater for 2, 3 & 4 year old government funding. We offer both 15 and 30 hour funding for children who are eligible, please visit our fees and funding page for more information.
We have Yoga Sessions in our Caterpillar room, taught by our trained practitioners!
Children love learing new postures, the art of meditation and mindfullness.
