Enchanted Day Nursery and Holiday Club was established in October 2016.
The nursery directors (Adele and Carly) have over 40 years combined experience working within early years.
A little bit about where it all began ...
After meeting during our previous roles as Manger and Deputy, we struggled to fully implement our ideas, as the nursery was not our own. We both have the same values and wanted to create a nursey where the children and families are at the heart of our business.
We came across 138 Foleshill Road, a 3 storey self contained building, with huge amounts of space and character, our vision then came to life!
We chose the name "Enchanted" for our nursery as we wanted to create a magical place where children can learn and develop the necessary skills for future learning and school readiness. We also had a little help from Adele's daughter Poppie too!
Enchanted Day Nursery and Holiday Club opened in October 2016.

We have fully renovated and refurbished the property, to create a beautiful nursery.
This includes; brand new flooring fitted throughout, children's bathrooms with low level toilets and sinks, nappy changing facilities, fully fitted onsite kitchen and 4 spacious children's rooms! Not forgetting the decorating which was done mostly by ourselves and with a little help from our family and friends!
We have made lots of continued improvements to the nursery, as well as the resources and equipment we have purchased to support children's learning and development progress. Along with Special Educational Needs Resources and equipment to support SEND provision.
In 2026 we have added air conditioning, to help with the warmer months and help to keep children and staff cool during the nursery day.
Each room has a story behind it, carefully designed to create a magical place for children to explore and learn through play. Our aim is to provide the best possible start for all children.
We have 4 individual children's rooms based on age and ability. Our pre-school room is also used for our holiday club children aged 4 - 11 years, which runs during all school holidays.
Our nursery provides home from home care, children and staff wear indoor shoes and slippers to give it that extra homely feel. When joining Enchanted parents become part of our family and we go above and beyond to exceed your expectations, providing the highest possible standard of care and education.
At Enchanted Day Nursery Coventry we follow inclusive practice and welcome all children and families.
We provide a wide range of additional resources and facilities, as well as having highly experienced staff team; to support when working with children with any Special Education needs or Disabilities (SEND).
We work in partnership with parents, multi agency professionals such as; portage workers, SEND teachers and Health Visitors, to support meeting the needs of all children and families. We also offer support and advice upon request.
Please do not hesitate to contact our management team who will be happy to help with any queries.
Enchanted Day Nursery and Holiday Club Fundraiser for an onsite Defibrillator (AED)
We are so proud to share that Enchanted is currently fundraising for a defibrillator at nursery. Having quick access to a defibrillator can quite literally save lives in a medical emergency, and having one on site gives staff the best possible chance to act fast if the unthinkable ever happened.
We hope we never need to use it, but having this equipment available provides reassurance and an extra layer of safety for our children, families, staff, and the wider community.
Every share and every contribution, no matter how small, really does make a difference.

Important Changes from September 2026
A Little Change to Our Facebook Page and Website.
Keeping all children safe.
We wanted to share a little update with you about how we will be using our Facebook page moving forward.
As a nursery, the safety, wellbeing and privacy of the children in our care will always be at the heart of everything we do. As technology continues to develop and the online world changes, we regularly review our safeguarding practices to make sure they remain appropriate and provide the best possible protection for our children.
After careful consideration, we have therefore made the decision that we will no longer share photographs of the children on our public Facebook page.
We know that seeing the children enjoying themselves, getting stuck into activities and proudly showing off their creations has always been a lovely way for us to give families a glimpse into nursery life.
However, advances in technology — particularly AI and increasingly sophisticated photo-editing tools — mean that images shared online can potentially be altered, reused or manipulated.
For us, this means taking an extra, proactive step to protect the children in our care.
What does this mean for our Facebook page?
Over the next few weeks, we will be reviewing our existing posts and gradually removing posts which contain photographs of the children.
But don't worry — our Facebook page isn't going anywhere!
We will still be using it to keep everyone up to date with all the wonderful things happening at nursery, including:
-
Activity and play set-ups
-
Creative and messy play ideas
-
Learning opportunities and experiences
-
News and updates from the nursery
-
Important announcements and reminders
-
Nursery events and special occasions
-
Useful information and ideas for families
-
A glimpse at the environments and resources we provide
Instead of photographing the children themselves, we'll be sharing the activities, experiences and environments we create for them — allowing you to see the thought, creativity and learning opportunities that go into everyday nursery life, without sharing children's images publicly.
We hope you'll continue to enjoy following our page and seeing what we've been getting up to. There is so much more to nursery life than photographs, and we're excited to find new ways of sharing that with you!
Most importantly, we hope you understand that this change comes from a place of care, responsibility and our commitment to keeping the children safe in an ever-changing digital world.
Thank you, as always, for your continued trust, support and understanding.
Team Enchanted
